Pets Bring Joy: No Fee/Low Fee All Love Adoption Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We are grateful to have received a 2026 Petfinder Foundation No-Fee/Low-Fee All Love Adoption Grant in the amount of $2,500, which has supported fee-reduced or free adoptions for some of our animals this year.

Our regular adoption fee for individual cats is set at $200, which is already far below the amount we spend on an average cat to prepare them for adoption. With the Petfinder Foundation's generous grant, we were able to reduce our adoption fee to $100 for many of our senior and/or special-needs animals – and in some cases, offer them as free adoptions – encouraging their adoption into loving, permanent homes.

Thanks to this grant, we have already enabled 15 fee-reduced or free adoptions this year. We will be able to fund 10 more before the end of the calendar year with the remaining funds from the Petfinder Foundation grant. Thanks to this, we are able to free up valuable space in our foster homes in order to bring in new cats in this unprecedented time of need.

From rags to riches, sweet Gigi and Limba finally got their happily ever afters.

This shy mother-daughter duo spent an entire year in foster care waiting for someone special to see the loving cats hiding behind their timid hearts. Coming from very humble beginnings, Gigi and Limba needed months of patience, socialization, and gentle care to learn that humans could be trusted. Slowly, they blossomed from frightened cats into affectionate companions ready for a home of their own.

Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation, these deserving girls were able to go home with no adoption fees — and their new mom, Anne, says it was the best decision she’s ever made. Now Gigi and Limba are living the rich life filled with cozy naps, loving cuddles, and the forever family they always deserved.
