The 11th Hour Animal Rescue, Inc.: Play Pet Beds Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

Eleventh Hour Rescue has been settling into a new kennel in Flanders, NJ. This kennel has allowed us to put down permanent roots in the Morris County, NJ, area. The kennel has the ability to house up to 60 dogs. Some of the dogs are recently transferred in and have not yet found an adopter or foster. Others are long-term dogs who have some behavioral issues that require a special adopter.

Of these long-term dogs, half are now senior dogs. The P.L.A.Y Pet Beds were used to make these dogs a little more comfortable and ease their joints! We also gave a few of the beds to our transport team who move the dogs from the kennel to our adoption events. The beds help the dogs remain comfortable and less stressed during transport.

The P.L.A.Y. bed grant helped Pascal Clayton!

Pascal originally came to us in 2021 and is still waiting to find his forever home. Pascal is a handsome senior weighing 70 lbs. He will be 10 years old in January, so almost half his life has been spent with us. The kennel volunteers love spoiling Pascal as much as possible, so the bed was a welcome addition to his kennel run. Thank you so much!

You can meet Pascal Clayton here.
