This grant helped our organization pay for the surgeries necessary for our bulldog, George, to recover from a urethral prolapse, as well as opening up his nostrils, which was necessary to prevent a relapse of the prolapse.

Furthermore, having most of the vet bill covered allowed us to put George on a special diet, as it was discovered he had bladder stones.

All in all, his recovery was a success.

George has since found his furever home. We are waiting to finalize the adoption after his next follow-up visit with Dr. Sacco to ensure that the bladder stones are 100% gone.
