Having a soft, comfortable place to lay their heads makes all the difference to our dogs. It's so important in rescue to give our previously homeless dogs a glimpse into what life with love feels like. This generous grant has made the Rescue Ridge Dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved, making it feel less like a shelter and more like a home.

Sasha was abandoned in rural Alabama when her owner was jailed. With nowhere for her to go, the outlook for a young female pit mix was dim at best. Luckily for Sasha, a concerned neighbor reached out for help. Sasha became a part of the Rescue Ridge family that day. It was a wonderful feeling to bring Sasha home from her spay appointment knowing she had a comfy place to heal and rest. Sasha will be ready for adoption once she’s healed.
