How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

These beds helped our cats feel more comfortable in cages and foster homes! Sometimes we need to board our cats at our vet due to lack of space. This is always our last resort and we don’t like putting our adoptable cats in cages. However, having these beds in the cages makes them more comfortable.

Our “breakfast crew” kittens had a hard start at life.

Bagel, Skillet, Mimosa, and FlapJack were sick strays from Mississippi before we set our sights on them. Our partners down south were able to get them healthy enough to travel to Connecticut to meet us. They still came to us with some ailments that left them in our care for a few months.

Our P.L.A.Y Pet Beds were utilized in foster homes and brought to an event with the breakfast crew to keep them cozy while the public oohed and ahhed over them. The photos is from that event.

Mimosa and FlapJack (first photo) found their forever home together at this exact event! Bagel went home with a repeat adopter. Skillet went home with one of our favorite vet techs. All are doing well!
