The 2025 Emergency Medical Grant helped us support Crow, an 11-month-old kitten. Crow became ill overnight and began vomiting while also refusing all food and most water. We immediately sent him to the emergency vet. Radiographs were conducted to rule out a suspected foreign body, though there was no indication of him ingesting anything unusual. When the radiographs came back clear, the doctor recommended lab work to rule out infection or toxin exposure. He was discharged and we were instructed to give him subcutaneous fluids and nausea medication and to monitor his progress at home.
