We are incredibly grateful to the Petfinder Foundation for its generous support through the Emergency Medical Grant, which made a lifesaving difference for our sweet rescue dog Lady.
When Lady came into our care, she was suffering from a serious medical condition that required immediate treatment. As a small nonprofit rescue, unexpected veterinary emergencies like this can stretch our resources thin. Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation grant, we were able to move forward with her care without delay — covering diagnostics, medications, and mass removals to save her life.
Today, Lady is thriving. She’s healing beautifully and has even started showing her sweet, gentle personality to her foster family. This grant gave her a second chance, and we couldn’t be more thankful for the support that helped turn her story around.
Because of the Petfinder Foundation’s generosity, Lady now has the future she deserves — and we’re one step closer to placing her in a loving, forever home.

Thanks to the Petfinder Foundation’s Emergency Medical Grant, Lady received life-saving veterinary care that gave her a second chance. The grant covered the removal of several cancerous masses, as well as treatment and specialist care for vision loss in her right eye. While she has lost sight in that eye, the medical support ensured she could heal comfortably and continue living her life to the fullest.
Today, Lady is thriving — enjoying her daily walks, snuggling on the couch, and charming everyone she meets with her sweet and gentle spirit. This grant truly saved her life and set her on the path to finding a loving, forever home. She is available for adoption through Lucky 13 Rescue.
