Good Mews Animal Foundation: Cat Enrichment Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

With this generous grant, we were able to purchase four Kuranda cat towers of various sizes to enhance the living spaces in our shelter. These sturdy, easy-to-clean towers provide our feline residents with more opportunities to jump, climb, and lounge at different levels, giving them the enrichment they need while they wait for their forever homes.

One of the cats who has benefitted from these towers is Lucky. This playful, affectionate guy arrived at Good Mews when his owner became ill and could no longer care for him. He’s an active cat who loves to climb, and the new towers gave him a perfect place to jump, perch, and show off his climbing skills!

Thanks to this grant, Lucky and his fellow feline friends have a more engaging and comfortable space while they wait for their forever families.
