How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We were very grateful for the help this grant contributed to the overall health and placement of the animals we rescued during Hurricane Helene. Vet care, food, supplies, and housing were given to a numerous amount of dogs and cats before they were adopted out into their furever homes!

We took in a litter of kittens who were born in the middle of Hurricane Helene. They were ill and one of the kittens had already passed. We supplied the kittens with food, a kennel, and veterinary treatment, and the foster supplied the love and care! There were a few rough days when they had to be rushed to the vet, but after all was said and done, the kittens were all adopted and the foster actually kept the one who’d the roughest time.
