How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We utilized the Kia Pet Adoption Grant to lower the adoption fees for five of our longtime dogs looking for their forever homes. Four seniors and one special-needs dog each were awarded funding to lower their adoption costs.

Martini came to us as a newborn French bulldog with a cleft palate. Shortly after, she began having seizures due to hydrocephalus. Martini’s foster mom took the best care of her and they developed a bond. Martini had been with us for two years and, on her second birthday, we awarded her foster the grant and she cried.
