Some kind children found a very sweet, but very injured, kitten outdoors in mid-June, and their mom contacted our rescue for help. The kitten, Miranda, had a leg that was so damaged it had to be amputated. It was a scary time because she was so small, but she had to have emergency surgery.

Miranda’s surgery was a success! Throughout it all (surgery, recovery, and rechecks at the vet), Miranda was such a sweet kitten. A little more than two months later, Miranda was adopted by a couple with another “tripod” cat, and they get along great.
