How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We were so excited to see the box of KONG toys arrive at the kennel today. Adoptions have been slow over the last few months and many of our residents are having to wait longer than usual to find their forever home. But thanks to you, these toys will help enrich and entertain so many of our dogs while they patiently wait for adoption. Thank you for selecting AARF to receive this award.

One of the first residents we gave a KONG toy to was Jude Paw. Jude has been at the shelter for just over a year. Sadly, he constantly gets overlooked at adoption events. He has a great personality and we often catch him standing in his kennel holding toys in his mouth. So he was very excited to receive a new KONG toy to play with today.
