How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
We strive to provide all of our dogs and cats with the best possible care. Quality food, regular veterinary visits, monthly preventatives, and necessary medications all support the high level of care we provide and are part of our daily operations. This level of care keeps our more fragile animals healthy and helps prevent future medical issues. Your generous grant has greatly helped us continue to provide the care our animals (and all animals) deserve.

A portion of our sanctuary is dedicated to senior dogs who often need more vet visits than our younger residents. The Petfinder Foundation grant helped us treat Maile, a senior dog with chronic ear infections. She needed a vet visit and an ear culture to determine the best plan of care.
We are honored to have the means to help Maile and other dogs like her, as senior dogs are often overlooked for the younger dogs. Maile is not yet adopted.
