How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

This grant helped ease the cost of supplies for the small animals in our care. We were able to purchase pellet food and timothy hay to keep our rabbits and guinea pigs comfortable while they await adoption.

Churro was an adorable Californian/American sable mix bunny who spent a few weeks with us. He was originally found abandoned underneath someone’s car in a neighboring county. Since their shelter is not set up to house bunnies long-term, Churro came to us. He was adopted into a great home on June 5, 2025, and we’re thrilled for him!
