How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The cats in our shelter are free-roaming unless they are sick or new and need to be in a cat condo to heal or decompress. The cat beds provide the cats with comfortable places to rest or sleep. This enables the cat to be less stressed and also more comfortable so they get along with each other better.

Moralee was a stray cat found by a lady who already had four other cats. She also had two kids and they were all living together in a one-room apartment. She was unable to keep Moralee, so the daughter of this lady approached us for help. We agreed to take Moralee.

Moralee was at our shelter for two months and she got adopted today.

We have 40 cats in the shelter and the grant helps by providing cat beds for the cats to rest comfortably.
