Barbacoa was a dog we got from our local dog warden. He was a favorite with the staff there, but unfortunately no one wanted to give him a home. He was within a few days of euthanasia when we transferred him over to our rescue.

Within just a few weeks, we had someone lined up to meet him, but they couldn’t cover the cost. With the help of this grant, we were able to place Barbacoa in a home where he is loved and he can live out his life happily. No more cages. No more shelters. Just home, and family.
