We were able to find a permanent placement for Pepperjack. Pepperjack had been in care with PPA for over six months before we received the grant. The grant funds covered his adoption fee and continue to assist with costs associated with his medication and medical needs.

Pepperjack is a 15-year-old beagle/Jack Russell mix. He has severe arthritis in his rear legs and some issues with his kidney function. Due to his age and medical issues, it was very difficult to find a permanent home for him.

The Petfinder Foundation Senior Pet Adoption Assistance Grant enabled us to find Pepperjack a wonderful home in which to spend the rest of his days. The adopter was relieved not to have to worry about immediate medical expenses.

We don’t know how long Pepperjack has left, but whatever time he has will be spent in a safe, loving home.
