Houston Cares Animal Rescue: Wag Wine Operation Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

We are so grateful to the Petfinder Foundation for awarding us a $750 Wag Wine grant! With this grant, we were able to purchase 24 units of wet and dry cat and dog food, including specialty kitten and restricted diet food, to serve our 125+ foster dogs and cats.

It could not have come at a better time. With the increase in food prices, this grant helped us ensure our animals received the food they needed and contributed to our overall ability to continue rescuing the homeless and abandoned animals in our area.
