Lighthouse Dog Rescue: Play Pet Beds Grant Report

How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The P.L.A.Y. bed grant helped Lighthouse Dog Rescue with the gift of comfort for our pups in our care. We have a senior male in our care who delights in lying around all day and receiving special TLC from our daycare specialists at Pixee’s Paws Pet Palace in Arlington, Tex.

The dog beds will also go with our rescues who are being given foster homes in other states where we have relationships with other rescues.

Our pups who are currently in Lighthouse Dog Rescue's care will benefit with their own special beds -- a little taste of what they will receive when they enter their own loving homes.

Sarge is a senior Lighthouse Dog Rescue dog who was rescued from the local shelter, as he had been there for over two months with no takers.

Sarge has been staying at Pixee’s Paws Pet Palace while he awaits his forever own home. You can meet Sarge here.

We have other pups who will also delight in the comfort of their very own beds.
