How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The toys gifted to us by this grant have been of great value to the animals in our care. We do our best to give our animals as much one-on-one time as possible, but we can only do so much. The dogs love having these Kong toys to help keep their minds stimulated and give them something to do and focus on when they are left alone.

Cleopatra has been with us for a few months now. She originally came in with her mother and the two were very close and Cleo looked to her mother for comfort.

Sadly for Cleo, her mother was quickly adopted, leaving Cleo stressed and anxious. The Kong toys gifted to our shelter have greatly helped to calm Cleo down and help with her anxiety.
