Lori came to visit our shelter with a specific list of wishes for her next best friend, but was open to meeting multiple dogs. She came with her mother and was interested in a medium- to large-size female who was dog- and people-friendly.

Luna was one of several animals we showed Lori, but she was most interested in Luna. She said she wanted to sleep on the decision but called back 48 hours later and said she wanted Luna! We were elated!

We had saved Luna from another shelter and had had her for more than eight months. Luna weighs 70 lbs. and has ice-blue eyes and a golden coat. She is beautiful, but adoptions have been slow and so many of our beautiful animals are overlooked. Thank you for the Kia Pet Adoption Grant that helped Luna find a loving home!
