How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?

The timeliness of the grant came when our monetary donations had decreased and funding for even the basics was difficult. Our quarantine has about 35 cats at a time, 100 in a month, and cat litter is a very basic need that we can't do without. We are grateful for the generosity of Bar Dog and the Petfinder Foundation.

Marmalade is a sweetheart of a kitty who came into our rescue after being abandoned. He began his journey with Fancy Cats in our quarantine, where he used the litter provided by the Bar Dog grant while recovering from an upper-respiratory infection. He has since been adopted into a loving home and he has a feline buddy there as well.
