How did this grant help your organization and the pets in your care?
These P.L.A.Y pet beds are helping our cats stay nice and comfy in their kennels, bedrooms, and foster homes. The cats are happy, enjoy naptime even more, and take cute pictures. Our cats enjoy having something extra soft and comfortable to lie on no matter where they slumber.
The dogs enjoy their beds in their kennels, foster homes, and yards for outside play time. Our dogs even take these beds on their overnight trips and outings with volunteers. These beds ensure that our dogs are always comfortable and have something of their own to take with them to and from their trips and visits.
How many pets did this grant help?
Currently, the P.L.A.Y. beds are helping about 15 animals, but they can be reused for other animals in the future, so the number is unmeasurable.

All the animals in the pictures below love their P.L.A.Y pet beds, whether they are used in their nighttime kennels, their foster homes, or outside for playtime.
Buckeye (first photo) enjoys using her bed to recover from her medical treatments. She is currently in remission from two different forms of FIP and is also FELV-positive. She enjoys curling up on her bed in her foster home after filling up on her meals.
DeLaCruz (second and third photos) loves to rest and people-watch on his bed during outside playtime. He is good with other dogs and loves outdoor activities. He likes to go on outings such as camping and hiking. He will take his new bed with him on his next overnight trip.
